Welcome to my Caribbean Kitchen — a place where my heritage, family, and flavor meet! My love for cooking was shaped by watching my mother cook when I was a little girl. I grew up surrounded by the aroma of simmering stews, coconut milk, thyme, and scotch bonnet pepper. I saw the women in my family cook with instinct. My grandmother is Cuban, my mother is Bajan, and my father carries both Jamaican and Bajan roots, so you can imagine the flavors in my kitchen are a beautiful fusion! Dinner time growing up was never just food — it was culture, storytelling, and love served on a plate.
